Our support groups offer the following:
• Support on emotion-regulation, self-control and conflict resolution skills.
• Reduces aggression, anxiety, depression and antisocial behavior.
• Support around social competency and prosocial
conduct
• Support around academic experience by lessening social issues at school.
• Increases effective parenting skills. Refers children and their mothers to community-based resources.
Parent and Child Support Group
This support group is for both the mothers and children where they are paired together and learn better coping mechanism skills on how to deal with mental health barriers such as depression, anxiety, stress and conflict. This workshop also provides relationship-building and trust centered workshops that help to enhance the relationship between mother and child.
Women And Men Support Group
This support group focuses on the women, men and is peer based, we provide resources and support around different struggles that they may be facing. We provide workshops that have mental health support, team and relationship building, income and financial management, entrepreneurship and self-development and many more topics.

Boys Support Group
This support group is family-focused, program for boys from ages 4-18 years who are engaging in aggressive, antisocial behavior and/or have come into contact with the police and who are negatively impacted due to the barriers that their mother is facing. In this monthly support group, we provide peer mentoring and talk about different coping mechanism when dealing with the negative impact of coming from a single parent home.
Girls Support Group
This support group is a family-focused, gender-specific program for girls ages 6-18 exhibiting early disruptive behavior problems at home, and school, and in the community and that are facing extreme mental health barriers because of the barriers their mother is facing. In this monthly support group, we provide peer mentoring and talk about different coping mechanism when dealing with the negative impact of coming from a single parent home.
Employment Program:
This program is a 12-week program that provides pre-employment counselling and provides basic computer skills training for single parents.
Services offered through this program include:
• In-depth client assessment and development of a client action plan
• Information sessions about labor market trends
• Basic computer skills training
• Financial management training (e.g. budgeting and credit counseling)
• Job search, resume and cover letter writing, interview preparation workshops
• Strategic information sessions/workshops (job search, leadership training etc.)
• Workplace training & placement

Food, Clothing and Toys Drive
We raise and give donations of food, clothing and toys drive in order to support families in need in Ontario and the Caribbean
